Price Increase and Bigger Quanity Discounts Again

Good news and Bad news gang.

Bad news first: I have had to raise prices across the board for all X-Socks. This is for two reasons. Firstly, because the UK Distributor has increased prices and secondly because Royal Mail has increased prices too. So, it was a choice of charging postage or increasing prices – at least this way you don’t get any surprises when you get to the checkout (UK customers get free postage).

Good news next: I have increased the discount when buying multiple pairs of the same model / size / colour. Your quantity discounts are now:

Qty Discount
—————-
2 – 4 6.00%
5 – 7 10.00%
8 – 12 12.00%

Also, of course, I have retained the extra discounts when your order totals more than £50 and more than £100:

>£50 and you get another 5% discount
>£100 and you get another 10% discount

All in all “It’s All Good” as they say.

Have Fun.

James.

Price Increase and Bigger Quanity Discounts

Hi Everyone,

So as of January 1st 2009 X-Socks themselves put the prices up on almost all their products and I have to increase too. There isn’t much increase in percentage terms but it is enough for me to offer you greater quantity discounts:

You now get these discounts when buying the same size and colour of a sock:

2 – 4 pairs you get 5% discount (extra 2%)
5 – 7 pairs you get 8% discount (extra 3 %)
8 – 12 pairs you get 12% discount (extra 2%)

While I am sorry to have to increase the prices for 1 pair I am happy to offer you greater quantity discounts.

There will also shortly be some new sock models arriving – so stay tuned for those.

Have Fun.

James.

But it’s not all bad news…

X-Socks have increased their prices which means that I have to increase the prices on the shop as well – but it won’t be much.

THE GOOD NEWS
I will increase the %age saving when you purchase more than 1 pair of socks (same size, same colour), so you can still save a tidy sum. Also I will increase the %age saving when you spend over £50 and £100

Cheers,

James.

Prices Increased And There’s More Good News

Prices have been increased to the original list price for each sock to allow me to continue to offer free postage to the UK. So you still have the benefit of knowing that the price you see in your basket won’t suddenly increase at checkout with some added postal charge.

The other good news is that for most of you this will only have a small effect because the quantity discounts are still in play and I have added two new rewards. So the ways to win are:

Quantity Discounts*
——————————————————–

  • Order 2, 3 or 4 pairs and get 3% off each pair
  • Order 5, 6 or 7 pairs and get 5% off each pair
  • Order 8, 9 or 10 pairs and get 10% off each pair

*(same model, size & colour)

Basket Total Discounts
——————————————————–
On top of the Quantity Discounts I have added a bonus at 2 levels, they are:

  • Basket Total of £50 or more gets 5% off
  • Basket Total of £100 or more gets 10% off

You can still take advantage of great deals and my service and you can shop knowing you are supporting a quality independent.

Please just remember that I can now still offer you free postage to the UK and also remember that if you love your X-Socks just tell one friend today about my shop at www.buyxsocks.com

Have Fun Today.

Price Increase

It’s either raise the prices or charge for postage and raising the prices will make it easier for you to shop online, charging postage will create an extra charge at the end of your buying process – something that I really want to avoid.

I have to raise prices back to list price so the 10% offer will be over soon. However, the other good news is that I can increase the %age saving you get when you buy multiples of the same sock and I can give you a reduction when you reach £50 and then £100 in one single order which I couldn’t do before.
I’ll post again once prices are altered.
Thanks
James.
